On the 5th July 2001 the pink Do
Not Delay! Bus continued its journey around Lithuania and visited District of
Lazdijai – Veisiejai and Krikstonis. They first arrived to Veisiejai town,
which is located in a very beautiful area surrounded by lakes and forests. 34 women were screened for breast cancer The
Pink bus settled near the Recreation centre of Veisiejai Town. The youngest of
them was 17 years of age and the eldest – 77.
Five of them were diagnosed with benign breast diseases such as
fibroadenoma, cysts.
